They are open 7 days a week and are always up for working with the community to stock any products you might want them to carry.
Parks
Raimondi Park | 800 Wood St.
One of the many projects birthed from the recent West Oakland districts revitalizing plan is the beautifully maintained 10 acre Raimondi Park, which has a kiddies play ground and some of Oakland’s most sought after soccer, football and baseball fields!
Middle Harbor Shoreline Park
"Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (MHSP) is a 38-acre shoreline park built and operated by the Port of Oakland for the community, with more than two miles of pathways encircling Middle Harbor Basin. The planning and design of this park was done with extensive community involvement, which identified key goals for the park. Primary goals included creation of a place for learning about the local history, natural environment, maritime activities and stewardship for the environment. In addition, MHSP provides unprecedented access to the shoreline, with associated views of the bay, natural habitats and maritime activity." - Portofoakland.com/community/middleharbor.aspx
Restaurants
10th & Wood | 945 Wood St. | 510.645.1955
10th & Wood is a new Prescott staple, serving modern American food in what they call "The Oakland Style".
They serve breakfast, lunch, brunch and good coffee. They have tons of bike parking and a nice outdoor space where you can sit in the sun, sip on some coffee and use their WI-FI. They are keen on keeping it local and catering to the neighborhood folks.
Try the 6-hour roasted coffee & hoisin marinated pulled pork sandwich served “Asian style” on a yummy artisanal bun! Or for breakfast, their crepe-like Swedish pancakes with a berry compote and powdered sugar.
